It’s no wonder that the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando is continually recognized among the nation’s top convention centers. With 2.1 million square feet of exhibit space, a lecture hall, 74 meeting rooms and 235 break-out rooms, two 92,000 square foot general assembly areas, four business centers and three full-service restaurants, there’s plenty of room to accommodate any size group. The Orange County Convention Center is the second largest convention center in the country.

Orange County Convention Center West Building
Private courtyards, lush atriums and skylights mark the convention center’s West Building. The world-class facility features wireless Internet access throughout the building, 1.1 million square feet of exhibit space, 49 meeting rooms, the 2,643-seat Chapin Theater, and the beautifully appointed 62,182 square foot Valencia Room banquet hall that accommodates up to 6,000 guests. The West Building also features the longest loading dock of any convention facility in the country. It stretches a half mile. The West Building’s exhibit space alone is large enough to hold the Sears Tower lengthwise. [Top]

Orange County Convention Center North/South Building
The North/South Building not only doubled the size of the Orange County Convention Center, but designated the facility as Central Florida landmark. The architecture is distinguished by arched entrances and 80-foot tall glass walls. Acoustically engineered general assembly areas, 25 meeting rooms, two full-service restaurants and 950,282 square feet of exhibit space are favorite features of the North/South Building. Going Green
Orange County Convention Center is the first convention center in the country to receive the ISO 14001:2004 Green Certification. To obtain the designation, the convention center implemented a successful Environmental Management System recycling program. Among the achievements were the recycling of 871 tons of cardboard and 5.8 tons of office paper, receipt of over $33,000 in recycling rebates, and the diversion of 9,000 tons of material for remanufacture. An extensive employee awareness program was also initiated. [Top]
