I also wanted to share a testimonial from Bob Kessinger, Sports Manager at Amelia Island Plantation, regarding the experience that he and his wife had at the ANNIKA Academy on April 17-19th.
Bob wrote:
Thank you for giving Sarah and I the opportunity to experience one of the best weekends we have had together. Annika Academy was a real thrill and a tremendous experience. We haven’t stopped talking about it yet!

I wanted to say how nice the resort is and how professional every things was. We stayed at the 2 bedroom villa and it was just beautiful. I liked how we were not without anything from housekeeping even if we had our privacy sign up, they would still leave you towels in a bin by the door. When we got to the Villa I thought there would be a luggage cart there so we would be able to put everything on it and bring it up in one shot but there wasn’t so we had to make a few trips to bring up our luggage, I would suggest the resort have a luggage cart at the Villas to make it a bit easier but other than that everything was terrific and I would go back and recommed the resort to others.

I would like to say that this place is very nice and worth the money. The houses are very clean and the people are so polite and professional. I am planning another visit next year for my other family. If you want a relaxing and nice vacation this is the place to go.

Our son, David Light and his family, invited us to join them over the July 4th, 2008 weekend as a gift for my birthday. From our arrival on Friday afternoon through our reluctant departure on Sunday, we enjoyed, without a doubt, the finest resort vacation of our lives. The apartments were luxurious, the staff was incredible, the entertainment was wonderful, and the waterpark and carnival were more than we could have imagined. We are writing to say thank you for providing such a marvelous experience for us, our children, and our grandchildren and to assure you that the Reunion Resort will be our destination of choice whenever we make vacation plans in the future. Please relay our appreciation to all of the staff.

My family stayed In a five bedroom house in Reunion for a week and I believe it was the first time my children, husband and myself were not in a hurry to get home. It was like a true home away from home(Wonderful) with plenty of room for everyone. We then stayed in another five bedroom and didn’t have as good of an experience for the next four days ( Can’t always be perfect). The Resort itself is beautiful with a lot to offer, it is still growing, but it needs improvement in the Customer Service Dept with addressing issues of importance, especially when they represent the owners homes in the Resort. All in all the first home made it a great experience for my family, (we loved it) and Orlando is always so much fun after all it has Disney and it is truly magical, everyone should visit it at least once.

We stayed at Ginn Reunion from June 30 - July 6 and stayed at a 4 bedroom home. We (2 adults + 2 sons 13 + 16) live in Curacao (DWI) and were really looking forward to our trip and the house. My wife’s father was going to join us and we were planning a nice family week. Upon arrival at the reception we were all smiles. This is a real Class operation. And when we opened the front door of our home we knew we hit pay dirt. The boys were all excited and my wife loved the large kitchen and space.
The golf courses were beautiful and manicured and the landscaping throughout the resort were from picture books. We are already thinking of our next trip to Orlando although it is fair to say that we are planning a trip to Ginn! An experience by itself.

Since we live in Florida, we appreciated not being right “on top of” Disney and other parks, although surely within close driving distance if folks are going to enjoy Florida’s theme parks. The resort is lovely with spacious accomodations - we had a one bedroom condo - fully equipped for comfort and quite luxurious. My husband enjoyed the golf - especially the Tradition - by far the best of your three courses. He would love to play there again - maybe next time we venture to Orlando. The Seven Eagles pool was great and poolside dining was clean, affordable and very tasty. Thank you again for such a nice several day stay.

We stayed at the Ginn Renuin resort July 27th -July 31, 08. The first evening when we arrived to our room we realized it was a town house. I did request first floor prior to our stay. We thought we would try it ou because we were all so tired. In the morning my mother couldn’t get out of bed. She has a bad back and the few time that she had to go up and down the steep steps put out her back. I called the front dest, and they were very understanding and accomadating. They immediately moved us to a three bedroom condo on the golf course that was all one level. We loved it. The condo was so clean and beautifully decorated. I loved the plush linnens, roman tub and king size beds. We had a nice balcony where we enjoyed our morning coffee. We don’t play golf, so went to the theme parks during the day. Everything was easy to get to from the resort. It was 1.5 miles from our condo. to I-4. In the evening we took advantage of the pool, and hot tub directly behing our condo. It was a great experience and I will be back. I also will be telling all my family and friends to stay there.

Top Notch resort. We loved our stay here. Very luxurious, and very good bargin. This is the only place we will stay when we visit Orlando. You will not believe your eyes when you enter the condo.

We stayed in a four bedroom house with a pool from August 4-August 10,2008. This is our fifth stay at Ginn Reunion (we love it so we keep coming back). We actually made two visits this summer (three this year already). If you are a golfer, make sure you check out all the ANNIKA Academy has to offer (just call them prior to your arrival to make arrangements). It’s a state-of-the-art facility with world-class teachers in a boutique setting. My daughter is junior golfer and she participated in ANNIKA Academy’s advanced junior clinic which took place in June - what an incredible, unforgettable experience! The Academy has something to offer every golfer that wants to improve their game (and who doesn’t?) We also love coming to the LPGA Ginn Open and staying here - we look forward to the Open every year (seems to be held during the third week of April). As others have said though, there’s a lot more to do at this resort than golf and there’s certainly something for everyone to do. By the way, there’s not only a Publix (grocery store) in nearby Champion’s Gate, there’s a brand new (just opened while we were there) Publix in the opposite direction that’s even closer to the resort. People don’t seem to really know about this resort yet (which is good for us, but maybe not so good for the resort?), which makes it a quiet, peaceful getaway.

I have to say that the Ginn Reunion Resort is one of the best places to stay. I have four children and the three bedroom villa was a Godsend! It had everything we could possibly need, including a washer and dryer! The housekeeping staff to the Concierge department were all phenomenal. I have traveled a lot of places in my life, but nothing compares to our stay at the Ginn Reunion Resort. We will definitely be back for years to come!

My family has been to Florida many times and stayed in many upscale properties. This was our first time with Ginn and I can honestly tell you that Ginn Reunion is our favorite. We had a three bedroom town home and it was better than we expected…We were blown away. Also, the staff is so friendly, everyone from the front desk, concierge, housekeeping to the security guards. We will definitely be back to Ginn.
P.S. Remember when you book online to choose the family package and you’ll get a huge discount.

Not too long ago, my wife and I decided to get together with some friends and relatives in Orlando for a concert and some Disney-style fun. We chose Ginn Reunion because we had been to their sister property in Palm Coast (Ginn Hammock Beach), and were looking for a nice three-bedroom unit so we could all hang out together without having to deal with multiple hotel rooms. Boy was this perfect!
None of us golf, but we ended up in a third floor room on one of their golf courses (I think they have 3!), and though we had planned on going out on the town, we ended up just getting some provisions from the nearby Publix and relaxing on the balcony for the duration of the first evening.
We were there for only for a few nights, but we made the most of it, with some of us relaxing at the water park (You mean I can order food and drinks without getting out of my lounge?). While others of us checked out nearby Celebration (neat little town, good food). And of course we did the obligatory Disney stop. I was particularly impressed with how easy it was to get to and from the park.
On the whole it was a really great experience, and I know we’ll be back. Oh and one more thing, this place is luxurious, but if you are sharing a three bedroom with two other couples, it is an amazing value. This will be a great place when we’re ready to bring our kids (not yet) to Orlando.
Highly Recommended!
